This table answers the question: “At my rating, how many rating points (GoR) do I gain or lose if I win against or lose to a player of that strength?” The columns represent the rating difference of the opponent. Negative values mean a weaker opponent, positive values mean a stronger opponent. Use the green values for a win and the red values for a loss.
For example, if a player rated 1050 plays against a player rated 1150, you go to the row that starts with “1050” and look up the cell in the “100” column, since that is the rating difference. You can see that the player gains 31 points for a win but loses 17.1 points for a loss.
The values are for class A tournaments without handicaps.
